Welcome to my world of transformative coaching!
My path to becoming a life coach and breathwork instructor has been shaped by a diverse range of experiences and extensive training.
Twenty years ago, I recognized the significant impact that our thoughts had on our overall well-being. As a UCLA student, I started meditating and practicing yoga daily to calm my active mind. Although I felt less anxious and more grounded, I still felt something was missing as I would find myself repeatedly getting stuck in the same emotional ruts. When I stumbled upon The Work by Byron Katie over a decade ago, I dove deep into the realm of thought work, using her approach to unravel and challenge the thought patterns that kept me bound to certain feelings, like shame and loneliness. Under Byron Katie’s guidance, I unearthed the hidden lies I had unknowingly woven to shield my heart and found my true armor: acceptance and love.

Over the years, my practice has expanded to use a life-altering technique called RAIN, which gently guides us to Recognize, Allow, Investigate, and Nurture what’s really going on inside us. By regularly practicing these four steps, we can untangle ourselves from our trapped emotions and unconscious beliefs and become whole again.
I integrate The Work with RAIN to train my clients in how to see the WHOLE glass—not just a half empty or half full one. This allows them to break free from their limiting patterns and experience the inexplicable joy of loving what is.
Doing this work truly allows us to see that our suffering often arises not because of a specific person or event but because of our attachment to our thoughts and our resistance to the moment, to life. We begin to recognize the stories we tell ourselves and question their validity, building our awareness on what truly ails us while creating the space for healing, true healing.
Sometimes, our issues run so deep they get trapped in our bodies, and thought work alone isn’t enough. That’s where the power of breathwork comes in. Over the last fifteen years, I’ve explored nearly a hundred different techniques, including Wim Hof’s and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s popular breathing practices. Although powerful, none for me have compared to the healing potential of David Elliot’s 2-part breathwork meditation. In 2007, I took David’s first three levels of his Healer Training courses and started teaching breathwork groups around the world. Last year, I completed his last two levels and became a certified breathwork practitioner. By combining my training and experience of this technique with my coaching practice, I empower my clients to release emotional blocks that they couldn’t let go on their own, helping them quiet their mind and body. Eventually, they start to experience more stillness inside and a love and joy at the core of their being.
Through experience, I’ve found breathwork often paves the way to more productive thought work. If we can’t create awareness around our conditioning because we’re too entangled in it, we can’t see how one domino in our life sets off the next. That leads to us blaming what’s going on on the outside, not realizing it is the inside that needs to be addressed.
Having lost my step-dad to a medical mistake, my brother and best friend to suicide, and almost my own life to COVID, I’m a living testament that there is love, joy, and peace on the other side of our toughest feelings and most compulsive thoughts. You can do this! Healing can be easy and fun. We don’t have to live in the quagmire of doubt, in the quicksand of fear, or in the pit of despair anymore. We can rise above our conditioned responses and live in a place of freedom and love.
